Delivered online using Teams

RIP_General_Time

10:00 - 12:00 Monday, 7 September 2026

As government reforms place renewed emphasis on strengthening support for new and established foster carers, this webinar provides a timely opportunity to explore evidence and practice to strengthen support for foster carers and improve outcomes for children and young people.

This interactive webinar will explore key principles and recommendations from the Foster Care Practice Guide developed by Foundations, and showcase approaches including the Mockingbird Model and the award-winning Room Makers programme, and hear directly from foster carers about their experiences and the support that makes a difference. Join us to reflect on the evidence, learn from promising practice, and hear from lived experience perspectives that are helping to shape the future of fostering.

This session is designed for Practice Leaders who are responsible for supporting and developing high-quality foster care practice within their organisation.
